Sectional Steamer

Manufacturers such as E.I. Horsman and Selchow & Righter were offering "Sliced-up" puzzles in the 1870s. Milton Bradley's version was the "Sectional" puzzle. Regardless of the date of this particular puzzle, the image and style pre-date the 20th century. The 63 cardboard strips make a puzzle that is over five feet long.
