Labeling this page "Countries" was probably not a good idea. It turns out that
almost all of my puzzles that fall into this category are puzzles of the U.S.
I know I have more puzzles of other countries somewhere, I just don't have images
of them yet. I've organized most of this page by manufacturer and there are wooden and cardboard
puzzles displayed here. The dates are often just guesses. I collect just about anything when it comes to map puzzles, the criteria is
that they have to be old and that they will add to my knowledge. Please note that the relative scales of
the pictures are not correct; I'll have to figure out how distance, zoom and pixels all play together.
* I am convinced that this is a 20th century reproduction, but have not tried to prove it yet.
** It is probable that this map is not original to this box. Look at the Dakota and Indian territories.
* There is a difference in these two box lids .... more details later.
** This ~1959 puzzle is still using the 1915 map. A copyright date of 1915
on a Parker map puzzle is not a good indicator of its age.
